  • Do you do phone or virtual consultations?

I do virtual consultations. I do not do phone consultations. Being able to visualize my clients is important for me to make a thorough assessment and plan for each family. I use Google Meet, which is a secure HIPPA compliant platform, for virtual consultations.

  • Do you have travel fees?

​

Yes, an additional $50 travel fee applies for travel beyond 25 miles. I see clients in Sonoma and Marin counties.

  • Will my insurance cover the cost of a private lactation consultation?

​

I do contract with some of the major insurance plans.  You can check if your insurance is contracted by clicking the links below:

Insurance coverage for lactation services is required through the Affordable Care Act, but accessing that coverage can still be challenging with some health care plans. I can provide a Superbill at the end of our visit that you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement if I am not contracted with them. I am not able to provide a Superbill for virtual consultations.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

​

Cash or credit card are accepted at the end of our first in-person visit together. For virtual consultations, online payment is required prior to the visit. I use SquareUp for online and credit card payments.
